WHY DONATE TO HONOR FLIGHT KENTUCKY:

Managed by an all volunteer team, our 501 (c) (3) registered non-profit operates on the donations and generosity of individuals and private sector companies. Honor Flights does not receive Federal or State taxpayer dollars.

Your donation to Honor Flight Kentucky will help us fly Veterans (at no charge) to Washington DC to visit, reflect and remember their Service and sacrifices for our great nation.  Your donation will help us provide airfare, ground transportation and meals to these heroes. Donations to our HFK, nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization are tax deductible to the extent allowable under Federal and State tax laws. OUR EFFECTIVENESS:

Charity Watch  (charitywatch.org) formerly the American Institute of Philanthropy, is a 501 nonprofit organization, created in the United States by Daniel Borochoff in 1992, to provide information about charities’ .   In their latest 2012-2013 report, Honor Flight earned an Overall score of 93.29 out of 100 points and a four star rating.  Charity Watch further noted that Honor Flight spends 93.8 % on the programs and services it delivers (flying veterans to Washington DC).  Administrative expenses were identified as 3.5%, and Fundraising expenses were identified as 2.5%.

OPPORTUNITIES:

Title Sponsor (approximately $35,000): Your sponsorship of a full flight (approximately 70 veterans) provides the following opportunities:

  • Exclusive recognition as sponsors in all press releases, banners, printed materials, etc. pertaining to sponsored flight
  • Guardian spots on flight (cost of $500 each, additionally)
  • Welcome Home ceremony orchestration
  • Quarterly mentions on HFK social media pages
  • Logo on HFK website home page

 

Co-Sponsor (approximately $17,500): Your sponsorship of a half flight (approximately 35 veterans) provides the following opportunities:

  • Co-sponsor recognition in all press releases, banners, printed materials, etc. pertaining to sponsored flight
  • Guardian spots on flight (cost of $500 each, additionally)
  • Welcome Home ceremony co-orchestration
  • Bi-annual mentions on HFK social media pages
  • Logo on HFK website home page

 

Veteran or Guardian Sponsor (approximately $500): Your sponsorship of one veteran provides the following opportunities:

  • Recognition on HFK social media pages
  • Logo on HFK site sponsor page
